This competition gives you a chance to become part of the Lulan story and design for the 2010 Lulan collection. Over the years, many textile designers inspired by Lulan Artisans’ commitment to craft and design have inquired as to how to get involved. This competition celebrates craftsmanship, promote talent and provide opportunities for textile artists or any other type of artists interested in being part of our community. In addition, to a cash prize, winners will receive credit for creating their design and will be featured on Lulan's website (http://lulan.com) and press material.

As part of the 2009 Competition, Lulan Artisans’ “No Design gets Left Behind” will include Creative Commons licensing, where any participant can choose to have their textile design uploaded for artisans across the world to see and use. This database will feature non-winning designs from any participant that elects to submit the design under the terms of the Creative Commons license.
